The journey began in the undergraduate course “Product Development & Innovation” at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) in spring 2025, where students researched and designed flying cars for Hong Kong as a project-based learning experience in systems design and innovation. The project continued over the summer, when several additional undergraduates joined the team to prototype and fabricate Hong Kong’s first flying car—designed specifically for Hong Kong.
